F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I can't even.

Just booked my hotel room tonight for Friday through Sunday. I had to call direct (202-638-1616), the 1-800 number doesn't work for Canadia (no big, just thought I'd mention it). The person at the other end was very capable and I have a lovely email confirmation number.

Ditto here for Friday and Saturday nights. I'm flirting with the idea of booking the penthouse at the Tabard Inn Sunday night and inviting stragglers to come by for a smaller afterparty. (It's WAY more room than Garrat and I'll need, but it's not much more expensive than the medium sized room I'd otherwise go for and in addition to allowing for socializing it would also ensure me a claw-footed bathtub.) Of those sticking around for Sunday night, would any of you be interested in dining in the Tabard's garden patio (here's a look at a sample dinner menu)and then heading upstairs for drinks, conversation, and whatnot?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Incidentally, I lurved both aforementioned DH's. I talked sports with Laura's and tech with Jess's. I thought the Buffista husbands were sweet, if a little bemused by all the corsets and the spanking.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Heh. Trust me, mine's right at home with both of those, but he isn't coming along for this one.

I have a question/suggestion/strong hint to toss out there. You remember that last year, in LA, there was bowling?

Well - does anyone play pool? 9-ball to be specific, but really, any form of pool? And if yes, is there a pool parlour anywhere nearby for an outing? Because damn, do I miss 9-ball.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My pool game is pretty terrible, but I know of two pool halls in DC, one in Dupont Circle and one in Georgetown. There might be others, too.

Hil, mine's as rusty as a 19th century rowboat; I haven't picked up my cue (a custom beauty, 21 ounces, green and black, with his own case) since before the MS diagnosis. I probably suck like a whirlpool right now.

But I'd love to try.

Our wings are not tired

If there is a place that has a few pool tables and some dart boards, that would be awesome. I love throwing darts!

Sounds like a fun, casual way to while away an afternoon or evening. (Mind you, I never played enough to actually learn the rules...)

I'm more than happy to teach people to play Cricket (Darts) I love the game and am so happy hanging out in a bar throwing darts and drinking with good friends.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

(just make sure they are the non-hurty kind of darts)
