F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
Feeling very Little House on the Prairie over here...
no cellphone--I'd lose it, or get Lee Atwater's disease
no pda--I make lists to lose them
no microwave--Funny how my quality of life has not diminished
no car--9 years...gonna have to turn in my Califorinian card. I think there is a rule. Who needs a car in DC?
no tv--Hi, my name is Bj and I'm an addict...There is no 12 step in the world that can save me from the blinking eye. So I just watch tv on dvd.
I'm off to churn some Parkay.
Who is a plummetting freak! I'm glad I didn't know this about you before. Nah, you go, have fun with it. I have serious plummetting problems. One of my major major freak-points.
I likes me the plummetting, as long as there is no skill involved on my part (noooo jumping from planes for me). My sister, who is not an adrenaline junkie, decided she wanted to ride the "eXtreme SkyFlyer" with me on a family outing at our nearby amusement park (Canada's Wonderland). That's the harness one where they drop you from about 120 feet and you bungee for a couple of seconds, then swing back and forth. Pretty tame by thrill-seeking standards. I thought it was great. My sis screamed like she was being murdered the whole time. And they'll sell you the whole thing on video.
My mother was not too impressed with her entire genetic legacy being risked in one throw of the dice like that, which added to the amusement.
I don't even know what a sidekick is. Or a blackberry.
Man, you could not pay me enough to go bungee-jumping.
t shudder
I've been Bunjee Jumping. There was a place in San Diego years ago that had a 10 story tower I'd jump from. They had 4 for $40 fridays, and I had a frequent jumper card (8th jump is free!). I could do front and back flips.
I have no desire to go bungee jumping, though I have wanted to go skydiving for years.
A blackberry is a pocketsized wireless devise that lets me get email whereever I am. It's evil and useful.
If anyone kind of likes rollercoasters, but might need a little persuasion to get on them, I can vouch for ND being pretty good at that kind of thing.
I've never been bunjee jumping. I love heights, and I love roller coasters and other rides like that, but I need something more than a bunjee cord keeping me from death. (This is the same thing that keeps me from scuba diving. I need to know where the air I'm breathing is coming from, and "that little tank on your back" isn't a good enough answer. So, snorkling and swimming and surfing, all fun. Scuba, no.)
Scuba is actually easier than snorkling, once you get used to it, since you don't have to worry about waves, or the proximity of the top of the snorkel to the surface of the water.

Heee, I love doing it too.

Yeah, but when you're snorkeling, the air is right there. If you're not getting enough air, you can move your neck a little, and have a whole world's worth of air. With scuba, not so much.

Yep. Still, me getting on X?
Not going to happen.
