Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I drank nothing on Friday (except a glass of Lebanese wine at dinner) and quite a bit on Saturday. I'm curious what the final tally was as well.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

ND sounds like he drinks like me- though I don't switch drinks.

No, it was all Vodka Tonic. I just lost track of my glass at a couple of different points.

Ah. So pretty much just like me only with vodka where the scotch should be and tonic where the-- nothing I guess, should be.

ETA: I count mine by the swizzle straws they always give me even though I say don't bother.

Yeah, they didn't have decent scotch to drink, so I went with the Vodka Tonic. It's like limeade essentially.

It wasn't a regular bar, it was a catering setup.

Not javachik

I can probably find out. Apparently they just tossed all charges onto the charge card # I gave them months ago. When I went down to check out, they said there were no charges for me. (DebetEsse, that means I'll be sending you a refund check re the room. I think they made a mistake in that regard, but I'm going to consider it a comp/perk). I haven't logged onto my charge card file so I have no idea how much it all was, yet.

I'm spending this weekend packing up my house so the floor people can come in and sand/finish my floors. I'd so much rather lie around and watch Tivo (it's working! I love my Tivo!). I haven't seen the Angel finale yet.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It is Friday and I am Buffista-less.

I am also nearly healthy again.

It is like Sophie's Choice.

Without the children.

Or a soundtrack.
