Nothin'. I just wanted you to face me so she could get behind ya.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I don't think so, Deb. She has to be back by about Sept. 10th, and the last I heard it was going to be late August.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think Nilly had said she wasn't totally sure, but she wants to stay for about two weeks, and be home by Rosh Hashanah, which I think is September 14.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Jen, I know that that has been the plan, though mostly in a vague way, AFAIK.

The status is NOT quo.

Jessica and Deb are mean and evil and only a two hour drive away that I would so be making right now to crash their party if I didn't have to work tomorrow.

t weeps

Okay, have heard from a few of you about the dates and have checked my calendar. I do want to get a date ironed out soon so we can save it and I can make other travel plans. I have a few possibilities I could book; why don't I list my open weekends, and you can email me (profile addy good) with which would be best for those who'd like to come? Then I will pick the one that the most Buffistas can attend.

Looks like...

July 10-11 (and Cass will be visiting me then, too!)
July 31-Aug 1
Aug 14-15
Aug 21-22

are my possible open dates. Summer is good for me because I'm off work, so I have a lot of flexibility. Basically, the main party would be on the Saturday (afternoon into night), but people could come down as early as Friday, hang out that night, play Saturday, and hang out during the day on Sunday before heading back. Obviously if someone wanted to just come for the day or needed to come a little earlier or stay a little later, that would be fine too. I don't have unlimited beds, but my mom lives literally next door (she's a very cool lady--not entirely momlike) and has extra beds she would doubtless offer as well, at least for one of the nights. Also, anyone who doesn't mind camping has lots of room in the field out front to sleep under the stars. Hell, I think I'd probably be sleeping outside.

So email me if you think you'd like to join up for this impromptu mini-F2F and let me know what dates might work for you.

t goes back to being jealous of the NYC feast I'm missing

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

(still deb)

Huh. I'll figure it out somehow - hell, if Nilly's heading straight for LA, and I get back after two days in Minneapolis, we can commence with the Nillynapping.

Our wings are not tired

Right now July 31 to Aug 1 and Aug 21-22 look best for me.

July 10-11 would be best for me, but July 31-Aug 1 would also work, I think.

edit: no, scratch that. July 31-Aug 1 would be best.

move out and draw fire

As much as I want to be with you guys, I'll be in New Mexico at that time.

(But very possibly in Los Angeles at the end of June, so maybe a mini-F2F there?)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Someone has to be in charge of my feet next year, because I clearly can't take care of them.

Probably better not be me. My feet still hurt. Achilles tendon, strictly. Totally worth it.
