Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I'll do the F2F wherever it is - well, mostly wherever; I will not set foot near Orlando, Florida - but I have to confess that flying into Denver, or over it, is one of my least favourite things to do. Boujcy bouncy bounce. Brrrr.

But I'd grit my teeth and be scared and still do it, probably.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Denver's my scariest airport approach evah, I must confess.

Them's some buffeting winds coming off them mountains. But they wouldn't stop me, either.

Our wings are not tired

Airtravel never seems to faze me. I think the plane could plow into the side of the mountain and I still wouldn't get distracted from the in flight pretzels.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Have you guys flown into Denver recently? It's my understanding that the old airport was much more exciting than the new one. (I've only ever flown into the new one as an adult, so I couldn't really say.)

Ted Bundy

I just keep scanning through my calendar for the summer and seeing all these open dates and weekends and such and then trying to figure out how many places I can visit with Buffistas this summer. I want a F2F every weekend!

I flew into Staples, which is, I believe, the new one.

Yeah. And the new one is just as exciting as the old one.

I'm getting the pig!

DIA (Denver International Airport) feels the same as Stapleton used to. Jarring and bumpy as all hell.

I flew over Denver on my way to DC last week.

And it on a day of nationwide thunderstorms? The only place I experienced any turbulence at all was over Denver.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Catching up after having had to go do that work thing ....

My point about the crime rate was that, although DC is a known high-crime city, all the Buffistas returned home unmolested (except by each other).
