Woe to the fucking wicked.

Trudy, you say that like it's a bad thing.

Does Scarred Baptist taste anything like blackened catfish?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Alright, who hooked up with one of the Baptists?

I can't even.

I have to run to a meeting, so the Prom report will have to wait.

More, please, Beverly. When time and that work thang permits.

hey! nobody got killed! or even molested. Unless you count being molested by the Buffistas.

A small group of us wandered around monuments in the dark. I never felt slightly alarmed, and I have twitchy canuck crime antennae.

I think we are all intended to be learning organisms. If it takes a leather kilt sighting, so mote it be.

No Baptist hookups for me. At least not that I'm aware of.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

JSw, the way I've heard it explained is that DC is like two cities. The touristy part is clean, well-policed, and exceedingly user-friendly (for, I think, the two people who didn't hear me say that the Metro is my favorite mass-transit system in the country). It's the other parts that are high-crime and scary. At least, that's what I've been told.

I continue to find it humorous that it took 3 Church groups in the hotel with us to maintain balance in the Universe.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I guess Toronto is falling between two bar stools, because last year we talked about leaving Toronto for this year's discussion, since it was a midwest city. I don't sense much enthusiasm for coming up here anyway (I think it was only Plei who was keen, as she has family here)

No, no family at the moment. My mother's best friend, but no family. Wait. Maybe some family. I'm not sure. That's Dad's side. Which is weird and scattered.

I still think it's midwest, but what's generally thought of as midwest is REALLY far East of Me.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

No Baptist hookups for me. At least not that I'm aware of.

Does this mean that, as far as you're aware, none of your hookups were Baptist, or that there's the possibility that there were hookups you weren't aware of?

I can't even.

It's the other parts that are high-crime and scary.

That makes sense. You can find trouble here too. It's just that you have to be in very wrong neighbourhoods at 3:30 am.

No, no family at the moment. My mother's best friend, but no family.

Apologies. I misapprehended.
