Fred: It's the pictures in my mind that are getting me. It's like being stuck in a really bad movie with those Clockwork Orange clampy things on my eyeballs. Wesley: Why imagine? Reality's disturbing enough.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

because last year we talked about leaving Toronto for this year's discussion, since it was a midwest city.

Really? I thought it was dropped primarily because it's so insanely expensive to fly into. I don't remember it being a geographical issue.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Gronk. I think I definitely caught the F2F flu. I have to go to work today, unfortunately, but maybe I can give the flu to all of the people who are making me be there.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I remember "Toronto next year" talk. And I still think a Canadian destination would be good. And we have someone offering to plan it...

If we're going to go with a "place where someone is offering to plan" approach maybe we should make a list:

Toronto: John Sweden
Minneapolis: Juliana

Any others?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I don't think any city should be knocked out of the running at this point (barring coastal locations, of course). I do think that preference could be given to those cities who have people who are offering to plan or propose (whether or not those people are local to that city).

I also think I am abusing the parentheses today. Apologies.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm one of those who really suffers in heat and humidity, so if we have a F2F at the end of May, I'd prefer a more northerly location. Minneapolis sounds good. 'Course, I can drive to Nashville, so there's that to consider.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'd love to plan Cleveland.

Also, Toronto is only 4 hours from me, so that would be very easy to get to (and if people wanted to fly into Cleveland and drive up with me, that might be fun. We could rent a van! Have a party on the way to the party!).

Actually, any (northerly) place with Deena sounds good!
