I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

La Liz is a grown-up, and gorgeous.

Wow, no kidding! As is Reema.

And happy and gorgeous together. That shows even in pics.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

See, I knew cab belonged here, with us! Welcome, Can we call you biclops spouse, just to tease Sean some more?

Now all we have to do is get Fred Pete's Hubs and Lyra Jane's DH to join in.

Thrive to spite them

Cab great to see you here! I had a great time sitting next to you at dinner on Friday night.

Currently I'm losing my voice and my throat hurts so I might be getting the F2Flu, hopefully it's not really anything.

Even though I know it's BiCYclops now and I heard his name many times during the F2F, I still say Biclops in my head.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

cab! So great to see you on the board. I'm so glad that you came and had a good time; it was wonderful to have you there. (I think I slept through saying goodbye to you when you came to pick up Beverly, so I'll give you a virtual goodbye hug now.)

Yay! She delurked!

A few things to add:

Highly recommend for spending several hours in a car with: Ginger and Beverly. Both of these remarkable women made our long trip much more delightful and entertaining than it otherwise would have been.

Buffista most likely to succeed at herding cats: Hil, who got a rowdy disorganized rabble of Buffistas in and out of train stations to their various destinations and safely back again. More than once. Thanks, Hil.

Laura and Brendon: Yes, please come visit! I never saw Laura without a smile on her face. These folks were our friends instantly, even though I had to look up to talk to Brendon, something I'm not accustomed to, being 6'3".

Jon B.: Seeing the thereminist in action for the first time was the coolest. I've been earwormed with "Senses Working Overtime" ever since.

Lee: what I said about Laura and Brendon and instant friendship. Just a truly wonderful person.

Hec & JZ: So glad you made time for us in the middle of your honeymoon. Regret that I didn't get much of a chance to talk to either of you.

Anne W: Thanks for hosting the Thursday night BBQ and giving us the chance to meet a smaller group of Buffistas that first night. ND, MM, Aimee et al had us literally laughing so much it hurt.

John Sweden: I got interrupted signing your book and forgot to go back and finish. So that's me that left the woefully incomplete, unsigned note. So glad you came & so glad to meet you.

Fred Pete & Hubs: A wonderful pair. Hubs talked to cab for a long time, and later told me over & over what a wonderful wife I have.

Sean: Got that middle syllable now?

So many others that we enjoyed meeting I can't list them all. It was a blast!

And the Buffistas babes at prom: Gaaaah! OK, my wife is reading now, better not say any more.
