F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I am home and I am tired. Again, it was great to meet everyone. Thanks to Bicyclops and Cheryl for driving and to Beverly for being a great traveling companion. I'll try to get pictures up tomorrow.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Kate! I wish I'd been able to see you this weekend, mostly because I love talking to you but also because I'm disappointed that you were smooching the ladies and I wasn't there to take part.

Packing is packing. Blech. For someone who's SuperVirgo in most life things, I just can't seem to get organized when I pack. It always takes me twice as long as it should.

Thankfully I'm not moving until Monday, so I've got time.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I had the best time seeing and meeting everyone this weekend.

I can't imagine not having gone this past weekend. It was really just amazing and I am so glad that I got to meet and get to know so many wonderful people.

My only regret? I found b.org last year and starting posting maybe two weeks after the F2F in LA. A month earlier and this would have been my second F2F.

Did Cass get her hug from the delurking Mothra?
Yes, yes she did.
DX took one for the lurkers.
Great hair, great smile, great boobs, what’s not to love, I say.
I am gonna tatoo this on my ass. In reverse. Then, if I am having a demony issues, I can just moon a nearby mirror and have myself a real good day.
There is a generosity of affection, as well. A willingness to hug and be hugged, to be comfortable enough to smooch away that pesky extra candy or to pile together like a litter of puppies just ‘cause it’s fun. Likewise, there is a respect for boundaries for the people who do not want the physical affection that is without judgment or censure. It just isn’t a phenomenon I have ever seen before, and I adored it. Add to that the undeniable sexiness of the Buffista braiiiiinnnns, and…wow.
I. Love. Kristin. Lots.
a list of the LJ names
And Deena too.
even though I didn't get to go and meet shiny new people.
This? This I didn't love so much. Wanted Pleity. Mighta worshipped even.

Bronzers always used to come down with what they termed the PBP Flu. Is there a similar post-party syndrome for F2Fers?
and definitely suffering from the dreaded F2Flu. I got the deluxe package - Come with a virus and leave with bronchitis.

I called my doctor's office yesterday evening when I changed planes in Denver. The on-call physician called me back and called in an Rx for Zithromax and the WBCS (world's best cough stuff) so I could pick them up when I got back into San Diego.

The miracle of technolgy. I have a cell phone, he has a paging device (pager, phone, summet...) and the pharmacy is open 24 hours.

t pauses

I really hope I wasn't Patient Zero. I am really just so sorry if I was.

my meds are kicking in and instead of being witty or sticking to highlights it will look like I'm drunk
This is so me. I love this cough syrup because it really really really is the only thing that helps when I feel like this but wow does it make me sleepy and stupid sounding. I suspect they engineer it that way because if you are sick enough to get this, you damn well better be in bed or on the couch, reading or watching tv.

I have tons more to say but I will have to post it all later.

Except that I am so glad that there are Buffistas in the world. You are all a spectacular group of people. Also? Buffistas foamy. There was just a whole lot of foamy in D.C.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Cass! Hope you feel better soon. That goes for all of those afflicted by the dreaded F2F Flu. I've heard it's a localized strain that changes its target area from year to year. DC was especially hit hard this time.

DX took one for the lurkers.

To hell with the lurkers supporting me in email; I rather prefer the lurkers supporting me at the F2F. More tactile that way.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Also? Buffistas foamy. There was just a whole lot of foamy in D.C.

"We're very pretty."

I just can't seem to get organized when I pack. It always takes me twice as long as it should.

Tell me about it. Can you get a friend or two to help you? Sometimes I find that helping with the packing is even more important than helping with the moving.

Also, you can bet I'd have smooched you!

I really hope I wasn't Patient Zero. I am really just so sorry if I was.

t brightly I'm not sick yet! Sorry to hear that most other people are, though. bleh.

Maria! Thanks sweetie. For the wishes (I am starting to feel like I am over the total worst of it) and also knowing it is likely a local strain and I was not Typhoid Cass.

I agree that the lurkers should support me at the F2F. I want the universe to support me in email.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

A few more photos have been added here. (I'm uploading pretty slowly, because I'm on dialup and it takes forever, and I need to upload them just two at a time.)

Our wings are not tired

Hey folks. I love you guys.

meara and I are both geeking out in her apartment right now.

Also, if the F2F gets moved to Spring Break it will almost definitely count me out as USITT always tries to land on Spring Break.

Jess, I'm getting "page not found" messages.

Deb is here behind me, she says hi.
