Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Nah, it's a wacky biology reference that BT introduced to the buffista lexicon -- it's a behavior pattern in a whole range of species (central american tree frogs, birds of paradise, promgoers...) where they gather together communally and go to absurd lengths to show off their plumage for the opposite sex.
(If you google "lekking", the first hit is an article on the National Zoo site entitled "Lekking for a good time". Which I almost suggested. Cos, bad pun and, hey, DC!)
Shiny. Note to self: pack to show off plumage.
Omigawd.
I can't now vote for anything other than "Lekking for a good time." It's perfect.

Right. How on earth could I have thought that holding back on the bad pun could ever be a good idea? What was I thinking?
Buffistas in DC: Lekking for a good time.

Oh yes, it must be this.
Oh, oh my.
Still looking for a Saturday-only hotel roommate...have not booked a room yet.
Meara, I'm leaning towards wanting a room for Saturday. How soon are you looking to book?
Also what do people think about: front and back
I toyed with "Lekking for a good time?" (question mark) instead, but it didn't feel right having the question on the back of the shirt.
Jess, I like it.
People who have booked - are they asking you to pay all now?
