"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Loving the idea of NO, especially since i haven't been there, but wouldn't it be a bit sultry in late May?

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

I've been to New Orleans six or seven times so I could probably be of some help with the organization of a NOF2F.

Not that I'm already looking forward to it or anything.

Edit: it'll be hot during the day but the nights will be gorgeous.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Do we have any NOLA-istas? Astarte, where are you?

I'm not in NOLA now, but I was for four years, and know the area pretty well. Also, yes, late May will be hot and humid in New Orleans, but not unbearably so. Rain would probably be more of a weather problem, but it could rain anywhere. Also, it does tend to cool down a bit at night.

Our wings are not tired.

This is going to keep happening; I just know it. I left Big-Man-HO Sean off of my list despite the most excellent hugs and kisses. He even hugged me after he was all ouchy.

Too much foamy, too little time. Tis so true.

Sean gives great hugs.

Yes, this. So many people I wanted to spend more time with and couldn't.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Here's hoping that DX snagged my Tick DVD.

I picked it up right after you called me. I'll bring it up next weekend.

Also, yes, late May will be hot and humid in New Orleans, but not unbearably so.

I love NOLA, but if we do decide to do it there, we might want to think about scheduling it late March-Early April. Speaking just for myself, one problem this year was that it was just too hot to enjoy myself walking around outside.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Earlier in the year sounds like a good suggestion to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, there's no MEverse finale to schedule around anymore.

I think we'd run into problems there, both with figuring out people's schedules, and with the city being full of students on Spring Break. But, if we can get it to work out, that could work.
