Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Frail my heart apart and play me a little Shady Grove

Hurray for SA's stuff. So sorry about that, sweetness.

Vortex, in Brenda and a lovely buffista whose name I should know, and have forgotten, I think the lovely Buffista is katefate.

How happy does it make me that Nilly can identify me?

The fact that I can't see Steph's pictures is making me tear up. Reading these posts is making me tear up. I had such a good time and I'm tired and happy. And weepy.

I stayed up way too late on Friday drinking with and talking to DebetEsse, MM, ND, and JohnSweden (and others?)

and me!

And me. Lee is the warmest, sweetest person you're ever likely to meet. Meeting her was one of the highlights of the trip.

Highlights of the trip. There was a highlight an average of every 5 minutes. And don't get me started on the hotness of everyone. I wouldn't know where to start, and I certainly wouldn't shut up for days.

Echoing not enough time to have a satisfying talk with everyone.

Buffista spice/SO's are the absolute best. bicyclops' wife was a delight! She wore some stunning amber pieces and we talked amber for a bit. Brendan as always is a cutie. He seems like he's having a good time right along with us. Jack was also right in the thick of the action, as was Reema. I've got a great pic of Sheryl and her sweetie that shows his personality.

And I should quit writing and work on the pics, shouldn't I?

t /more randomness

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Hurray for SA's stuff. So sorry about that, sweetness.

No worries. We were all in a rush.

Soooooo. Next year, New Orleans?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My internet connection is being a pain and won't let me upload more than two photos at once, at about a minute per photo, so I don't have everything up yet, but here are my first few photos.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Next year, New Orleans?

No, Ann Arbor!

Or Chicago, cause it's close to me.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Hil, be sure to change the album access to "public."

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

For the LiveJournal folks, I'm mfnlaw. Big surprise and a great shock, I know. I've friended some of you, but not all, so please don't be offended. LJ names = b.org names, easy; the others, NSM. I will get to you once I figure out corresponding monikers.

And I think I was in my cups right alongside of you, Lee, at least until 3 am. Then I had to beg for mercy and plead for you people to let me go. Not unexpectedly, I was not allowed to leave until they had extraced the promise that I would attend Prom or forever be subject to the woh-pah's of MM. My woh-pah avoidance system went into overdrive and almost shorted out, so attendance was the only alternative.

Oops, sorry. Fixed now.

Heh. When I post pictures I don't expect them to be private, so I keep getting caught by the "private by default" feature too.

Our wings are not tired

I'm posting from CaBil's car. He took JS and I out to the air and space annex at Dulles this afternoon. We saw a shuttle, an SR-71, and a Concorde, among many other very cool planes. We are now headed towards the metro to join up with meara, vortex, and others for dinner.
