Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Well crap. I just tried to book my room for Thursday night, and the best rate they have left is $182 with no cancellation. Now I need to pack my tent. (I will note that I was able to book the rest of the weekend no problem.)

Why weren't we able to get the group rate for Thursday again?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

There was a conference on Thursday.

Thrive to spite them

Does anyone know if AnneW's been around? I need to get in touch with her about the f2f.

Yes, Sushi-Ko. I haven't been in a number of years, but my sister, who lives in DC, said it was still good, last time I asked her. IIRC, they do serve non-sushi items.

I would also recommend Kaz Sushi Bistro. It's owned/run by the guy who used to be the chef at Sushi-Ko, who I suspect was the chef when you were there. I know that they serve non sushi items. However, it's not cheap. Worth the money, but not a destination for Buffistas on a budget, unless they are really into sushi.

Hey Jon, are you interested in driving down from Boston? I can't remember if you had bought plane tickets already.

Edit: this invitation is open to all Boston-area Buffistas, by the way--but someone mentioned upthread that they thought Jon might be driving down, so I thought I'd ask.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I haven't bought plane tickets yet, but I'm looking into combining my DC trip with a visit to a friend in Virginia. If I do that, I'll fly.

SFistas - for my personal amusement, I checked JetBlue (out of Oakland, to Dulles), and you can get here for $218 round trip

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just tried to get a reservation starting Thursday night, and the price is now up to 225 plus tax for Thursday night, so I need to rescind my invitation to crash for that night.

Our wings are not tired

My trip is all booked, and I even have all my places to stay all set. I feel all organized. The only thing that is still up for grabs is how I'm getting to and from the airport.
