All right, no one's killing folk today, on account of our very tight schedule.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

You're posting in the middle of the prom, Brenda? That's really geeky.

And you, my dear Scola?

Of course, I'm interrupting my own prom-going activities to bring you the first pictures of the night. (JenP, who is standing beautifully behind me, says hello.)

Prom photo album, numero uno. Enjoy!

Aaaaaand this is Sean, posting as SA, as I have just run down to the hotel room to switch into clothes more capable of staying on my body.

Yes, I probably have that all backwards.

Much fun is being had. Y'all should be here. Those who are not here, I hope you are managing to have some fun on your own.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Party is fab so far. Gotta get back. Anne has too much candy...

good lord, we're all geeks. ::smooch::

KateP is SMASHING in her corset. And Vortex is introducing herself: "Hi, I'm Vortex, and these are my boobs." It's an apt introduction.

Everyone is experiencing a bout of Too Much Candy, thanks to the lovely Teppy who provided us all with the original outbreak. My own happiness soared when Justin Timberlake was on the playlist, and we rocked out to "Rock Your Body."

Jon B's theremin concert is going to begin shortly, so I'm going to run upstairs and take mad pictures...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Everyone looks so foamy in the pictures!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Pictures!

Okay, you guys'll have to put all those links in Press, and someone's got to do captions, so I know who everyone is!

Why is everyone wearing pandas on their heads? THE PANDA IS DEAD, folks. DEAD!

THE PANDA IS DEAD, folks. DEAD!

But it lives on, on our heads.

Sooooo, this is by far the geekiest post I will make all night. We just had our two big things, the theremin concert and the awarding of the Buffista medals.

Jon, in tribute to all the loved ones out there (go Buffista marriage! choose Buffista marriage!) regaled us with "I Think I Love You" and "The Greatest Love of All." (Why yes, it is on tape.) We also got his classic rendition of the Slayer's Elegy/Angel Theme/Buffy theme, which we all rocked out on, and wrapped up with a "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." Panties were thrown, dancing was had. The silver pleather suit was in attendance. It was great.

Then we did the medal ceremony; David called up last years' receivers, and Raquel read the list off her PDA in the style of the Foamies. A bunch of people were awarded them in absentia; everyone thought that Deena and Raquel's work was just beautiful. Tom got one for board-coding, and it took five minutes for it to get pinned on by Emily. Poor dude. Drew got one, for helping out two years a row in the hospitality suite, and shed a tear or two (we love you man!) and Lois got one for her help putting together this year's event; it's her birthday too, so we sang to her.

It was a lot of fun, and a great way to give back to the people who have made this board a community. So thanks to everyone.
