Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

'Time Bomb'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

We made it. It took us an extra hour, because of traffic, but we are sitting in Anne's house, AIFG.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Packed. Sleeeeepy.
Half-packed. Super sleepy. Leave in less than 12 hours to catch a plane.

These F2F things are fun right? Cause I have to get up at 3:30 which is patently stupid. Of me. I booked a flight that leaves at 6 a.m. I should know me better than that.

And who do I actually think I can fool into thinking that I actually getting up at 3:30? I am obviously just staying up until then.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Packed, except for stuff I need tonight and tomorrow. Of course, my travels are work-to-Metro-to-Hotel....

Pictures! Neat. Loving the "We are as geeks" shot.

I can't even.

My flight is in approx 12 hours. I got back from my conference about an hour ago. I now need to eat, re-pack and kill time until I need to try (and fail) to sleep in order to get up waytoofuckinearly to get to through airport security.

I'm very looking forward. I don't have a cellphone or the list, but I will do my best to catch up with folks.

Do people know I look like this (person on right) but in modern clothes: JohnSweden in medieval getup

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

JohnS, the damsel next to you, is fierce. Great looks on everyone.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Pictures! I am looking forward to seeing many pictures from the F2F. Have fun everyone.

Our wings are not tired.

Erika, it would be an honor to be your corpse.

That's Adrielle. She is terrific, and also fierce. We were all being very focused, serious spectators of Crown Tourney. Her hubby was a contender. He did well, but didn't win. Ah well, there's always next time.

My friend who is visiting DC this week recommends an umbrella, I hear.

I found and packed my tiny little pocket-sized brolly, which opens to normal. I love that thing. I should probably pack - yuck - closed-toed shoes. Feh. Don't wanna.

Erika, it would be an honor to be your corpse.

Too late; go check out Fic. She's already murdered me and everyone reading it is howling with laughter.
