Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oh, for some reason I thought you could get reception underground, too.

You can. Or, at least, Verizon can. I think there are some services that can't, but I don't remember which is which, other than that Verizon can. (According to their commercials, Verizon also has service in the NY subways, but I have never had this work. I have made calls from underground metro trains, though. The reception's a little fuzzy, but it's there.)

I just talked to Javacat, who said that she talked to the hotel people, and the hotel pool will be open this weekend.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

well, it's more that the trains/stations are often above ground in DC.

Cingular only got service in a few of the stations when I was there recently, but I was mostly underground at that point.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Is that the pool outside the penthouse? If so, does this mean we won't have the patio to ourselves anymore?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Pout. I didn't bring my swimsuit. Or my tooth brush, for that matter, but that one I am actually going to do something about.

I could, with Sprint. I keep forgetting here and pulling out my phone on the train to no avail.

Thanks for the heads-up on the pool!

Good question. The penthouse is still all ours, right?
