I won't be going a second time.
See, that reaction right there is why I can't go on this trip. It'll unhinge me.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!
I won't be going a second time.

There's a very good Holocaust museum out here too (in addition to the Simon Weisenthal Center, which I haven't been to yet), and I visited that museum late last year.
The Holocaust Museum is very good. I won't be going a second time.
Goes to stand in Jessica's corner. I am torn on if I want to go see the Wall for a second time, but I am sure I won't be doing the Holocaust Museum again.
Cincinnati actually has a Holocaust museum, which I only recently discovered. I haven't been to it yet.
I haven't been to the Holocaust museum. I need to go, I want to go, but I'm still not over seeing Auschwitz, and that was 10 years ago.

What Jessica said. I do want to see the Wall, however.
Last time I went to the Holocaust museum was when it first opened, when I was about 14. I will be going again, but not this weekend. I need more time to reflect than this weekend will allow.

Yes. I couldn't agree with you more. And I know, I'm not supposed to get over that stuff, but there's only so much standing in the shadow of that much evil that I can tolerate without my heart exploding, or without taking the next bazillionaire movie star who has to be coaxed into saying the Holocaust happened and slamming his head repeatedly into a brick wall.
Sort of off the museum topic, but a few weeks ago I had to deliver some albums and stuff to this guy at his office.
The walls are lined with beautiful photos the man took in Isreal and his grandfather at one of the camps (he was a survivor). One of my favorites was of an old man leaning over reading what I assumed was the Torah, and it almost look like the text is lighting his face. If it weren't unprofessional, I would have cried right there.
I remembered that i had promised to bring a mike stand for Jon's theremin performance. i hope that doesn't screw him up too badly.
Eeep! Anyone else have access to a mic stand?
