May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Oh, sorry Kristin, G is my fiance. He's joining the F2F at some point Saturday.

Laura and I plan now to meet in the Hospitality Suite around 5.

I'll be there. I expect I'll be getting to DC noonish. It kinda sounds like the HS is a good place to locate right off ... what with the possibility of finding people there or, at least, random bits of information that might lead to people. I think I'll go with that.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm getting in Thursday night, but I was just figuring I could check the Hospitality Suite and meet up with people that way. I'm thinking about the Smithsonian on Friday, if anyone's interested. I'm leaning towards American History and/or Natural History (which has a baseball exhibit). Sometimes I lean towards the spy museum.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Vortex, my one true love, you'll have access to everyone's cells, yes? May I check it out, at need?

Will all the attendees get a copy? Be a big help.

Not javachik

I'm here! I'm in DC, at Raquel's. Sat. = Hec & JZ wedding & awesome reception; Sun. = Jen K & Jon B & Katerina Bee & I went to the Marin Headlands, Marine Mammal Center, and Rodeo Beach; Mon. = at Raquel's in DC!! It's a Buffistas kind of week.

Okay, tip for anyone renting a car at Dulles. THE ROADS ARE INSANE!! They don't tell you when you are getting onto an expressway from which THERE IS NO EXIT!! ARGHH!! Raquel is such a generous hostess, however, that she has provided me access via laptop and I have raided the 'fridge for a cold ale and ... Oh boy! Washington! I have not witnessed cicadadom yet.

Dang, who said upthread that he/she wanted to go to the spy museum? Me too! I wonder if we can coordinate.

Tip: you can get the "museumgoer's guide" at the incoming terminals, but not the baggage claim area, according to the newstand man near baggage claim. Things that I remember are v. close to the hotel without my notes are: postal museum, Supreme Court, Library of Congress, Folger Shakespeare Library, Taft Memorial, Peace Monument, Grant Monument, Garfield Monument, and the Capitol.

I'd like to lick the Library of Congress.

And lurk at the Spy Museum.
