Mal: So we run. Nandi: I understand, Captain Reynolds. You have your people to think of, same as me. And this ain't your fight. Mal: Don't believe you do understand, Nandi. I said 'we run'. We.

Happy Birthday, Vortex!

Speaking of Vortex ... my itinerary has changed in that I won't be arriving until Saturday. I still don't need pick-up or drop off help, though I will be coming into Union Station mid-dayish and would be happy to hang around and meet anyone who might need to be met there (though I think most train people are arrriving on Friday and I gather it's pretty close to the hotel anyway. But ... thought I'd offer); hmmm ... maybe I'll just e-mail you so you'll have the info.

Kristin -- what time do you get in on Saturday? I'm coming directly into Union Station. Mind if I e you to see if there are any getting to the hotel/finding the peeps for dinner coordination possibilities?

ETA: yay for Cass!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Most likely, we'll be around the hotel and vicinity most of the day Friday.

Oh, heh, I kinda read quickly there before I posted. So, Laura, Kristin ... erm ... mind if I meet up with you guys for dinner, too? she asked brightly, trying to gloss over the blatant and perhaps a little pitiful public inviting-self-along aspect of the question.

I, unfortunately, have to work on Friday, so I'll be heading to the hotel after work. I'm Metroing it, and I hope to get there around 6. I guess the hospitality suite is where I should go to find people, huh? I'll be wanting dinner by the time I get there...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I can get to the hotel any time on Friday (no school! no work! yay!). When will people start getting there? Is there stuff that needs to be done around the hospitality suite, like handing out nametags or letting people know who else has already arrived or anything? 'Cause I'll be available all day, and can do whatever.
