Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Our wings are not tired.

Hey Vortex! Are you coordinating the airport stuff? I don't mind taking transport, or a cab. I'm just trying to avoid renting a car for a change. It looks like we will be arriving Dulles at 6:30 on Friday. I haven't actually made reservations yet, but it is looking like we are going to be able to make a quick escape. I may even just pop up Saturday morning and leave Sunday, but I would like to at least get 2 nights.

I think you got my cell phone numbers, etc previously. I'll send again just in case.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Anne, do I need to send you flight info, or did I already do that?

I do need your flight info. Did I forward my phone number to you? Also, since you're getting in late, let me know if you want me to reserve a burger or two for you.

Question re. Friday get-togethers: About what time do people think they're going to meet for Friday activities?

About what time do people think they're going to meet for Friday activities?

I think that's gonna somewhat depend on the Thursday night festivities.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Laura said, since I just now realized I forgot to do it last night in Natter, the way I said I would.

Happiest of Birthdays, Vortex.
