F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Teppy offered to make nametags, and to do that she needs screen names and what we want to be called in person.

Would it be easier to have people e-mail me directly? Versus funneling the info through Vortex and/or Java?

Heh, clearly my working on lists is not going to be helpful ... nebbermind my previous post.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just realized that a) one week from right now I will already be on the East Coast, and sort of on my way to the F2F, and b) this actually made me happy. Go F2F.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Wow, it's going to be so soon!

I'm kind of for just having sharpies and blank nametags on a table, with instructions to print! clearly! and write either/both one's board name or/and one's real name, depending on what one is comfortable being called.

DX said,

There are a lot of first time F2Fers on the list, including many for whom we've never seen pictures

-- it occurs to me that perhaps it would be a good idea to make a little temporary attendees-of-the-F2F3 picture-gallery so that we can all get a bit of familiarity with one another's faces before meeting?

This would be different from the actual Buffista Photo Gallery in that 1) it would only represent people who will be coming to DC, and 2) it can self-destruct after the F2F if people so desire. I'll host and code if people email their photos to me.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

sharpies and blank nametags

Given the timeframe, this may be the best option. I want to point out (probably needlessly) that the clip/pin-on kind would last all weekend, as opposed to the sticky kind.

I'm confused, too. If Java has Vortex's list, she should have all my info and amyth's as well. I can send it again, I guess it's no big.

We've had the hang-around-your-neck kind in the past.

Really, I can make them with no problem, as long as I get a list.

Also? People who have never been to an F2F before, you may get called by your screen name even if you have a real name you prefer. I'm pretty sure this happens with great regularity (see also, Trudy, Meara).

Mostly, I want to know if I can call Lizard, well, Lizard.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Theo, that's a beautiful picture of you!

Here are a couple of me: this one is from a few years ago, and this one is from last year when I was in Australia; I'm the one in the red jacket, and plasmo and Angus are the others (hope they don't mind!).

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Java, I'll send you my phone number. My name is my name. I have no objection at all to all the attendees having my cell phone number; I found that list to be a lifesaver in LA last year.

We're supposed to post shareable pictures?

Let's see if this one works

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Kate, your pictures don't work due to an exceeding of data allocation, or something.

Deb, you're linking to the file on your hard drive rather than an uploaded version thereof.
