Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

DX, and all, if you want to stay at the hotel either before or after the blocked rates, Amy (the group sales person) recommends making a reservation over the internet.

Huh, that's odd. Most hotels will extend the group rate a day or two on either side of the officially reserved dates, for invididuals arriving early (or staying late).

We got a rate of $159 for Thursday night, which includes breakfast Friday AM. And it's the same room as our Buffista Block room Fri, Sat, Sun nights, so we don't have to move.

Our wings are not tired

I think part of the question on the internet access is about any software setup.

My experience over the past few years, and this is from quite a few hotels and many Holiday Inns, is that it is simply a DHCP server. Leave all your net settings on Automatic and it will hook right up.

And now my room is booked. I have a flight, and I have a room at the Holiday Inn for the weekend! Woot.

Also, it looks like I'm gonna crash with Meara on Monday night after the F2F, anyone local feel like having a NoiseDesign on their sofa for a night on the 19th, or 20th?

okay, there's been some confusion about who is keeping the list of attendees/arrivals/departures, etc.. (and most of it is my fault cause I was trying not to step on JC's toes, but we've cleared it up)

so, I'm keeping the list, please email me your info at sajesq AT aol dot COM or my profile addy.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yeah, it is.

Do we have a group booking code for the hotel website? "Buffistas" doesn't work (the form only allows three letters).

DX, you have to call the toll free number.

This is very important folks, I know we are all internet type people but to get our group rate and be part of our room block you must call the toll free number that Java provided and give them the blocking code Buffistas.

ND, then why do they have a space for a group code on the form on their web site?

I hate the telephone.
