It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Obviously I take a broad view of the word "topic". That having been said ...

She's my height, yet she never seemed short with the others.

The Buffy cast is pretty small. Marc Blucas and David Boreanaz did the hunchy scrunchy, but SMG, wee thing, is taller than Seth Green when she's in heels.

Angel is the big people show -- the male leads are all around six foot, and Charisma and Amy around 5'8.

I may have to seize the cat.

Marc Blucas

is HUGELY tall. And very skinny. I fangurled at him. It wouldn't have been out of place for him to say "How's the weather down there?" when I met him.

I think he was relieved to have a fangurl who could talk about basketball. (I'm very good at faking my way through these things - I can BS about basketball, gaming, comics, and 1980s cartoons that I only vaguely remember, and well enough so that boys see I am interested in what they're interested in. Stupid preposition-ended sentence.) I called my sister and he talked to her, but she didn't have much to say as she was in shock and he was trying to talk to her about basketball. He asked her which ACC team she liked and I was *jumping* at the phone because he's that tall to shout "SAY WAKE FOREST!" (his alma mater)

Joss is tall too. Around 5' 11".

KristinT, you are probably taller than me. I am 5' 3/4". I used to round up to 5' 1", but my boyfriend said my real height was cuter.

ETA: I'm really thinking of making someone (Daddy with digital camera) take pictures of me in my $2 dress, my new mostadorablestskirtever, and my "I ♥ Nerds" shirt. Then I can link to them and you all can look at how cute I am and how I think I'm about 12, when I'm really 22, and print them up if I'm not at F2F and take them there and pretend I am. You can talk to Paper-Kiba, and try to convince her to drink, and make her do the Anya-dance.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Kristin, I can safely promise you that I won't bend or scrunch or do anything like that. I find the only time I notice height differentials - I'm 5'9" now, and have actually shrunk some in middle age - is a) if someone is much taller than I am, or b) if that person's height is somehow the dead opposite of the mental image I had of them before meeting them.

beth, now Jet Blue comes up with the nonstop cheap flight to DC? Damn it.

edit: but we don't want Paper-Kiba, damn it. We want Real Live Breathing Kiba.

Kiba, we are exactly the same height! (Though my license is rounded to 5'1", everyone knows it's a lie.)

I almost always wear boots or sandals with heels, though, so I usually look around 5'3" (which seems very tall to me).

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Kristin! GAH WIBBLE THUNK! Gorgeous girl.

Marc Blucas and Joss standing together is fuh. knee. MB and SMG standing in front of each other is funnier. MB standing next to me is HEAVEN! :)

I'm in a goofy mood this morn.

Can we have New Order at prom?

If Drew doesn't already have the Pump Panel reconstruction of New Order's "Confusion," I can send it to him. I think that song is a must-have at a dance party for vampire show fans.

Something by Velvet Chain might be nice too, though they really shine better as a live band.

I'd like to request Bob Seger's "Shame on the Moon" if there's a place for slow dancing later in the evening.

I'm planning to again wear this, only not quite so well as David did.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Yikes, Kristin is movie-star foamy. And not to mention those landscape pictures. Where do you live, again?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Matt, all I get from your link is the Corbis search page, even when I copy and paste it into the address bar.

My license says 5' 2" because I used to be taller. Somewhere between 15 (permit) and 22 I shrunk.

Now I want to put up a picture of me and be complimented, even if it's all lies. But dude the outfit I'm wearing now is *so* cute, you don't even know.

Kiba, I'm picturing you in an adorable outfit and cooing! And it isn't a lie, silly.

And not to mention those landscape pictures. Where do you live, again?

Rebecca, thanks... blush ...and I live in southeastern, coastal Connecticut. I love it here. It's soooo purty.
