Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

'Get It Done'

F2F 2: Is there anybody here that hasn't slept together?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon: New Orleans! May 20-22, 2005!

I don't think there is such a thing as completely overdressed for F2F Prom, is there? If I had a ball gown, you can bet I'd be wearing it.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Completely what? Aimee's confusing me.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hee.

Kristin, what size are you? I could bring a ball gown.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Now I'm confused. I hadn't intended to wear anything particularly different from what I normally wear to the Prom. Is this not appropriate?

No such thing, BT.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I think Aimee was responding to the trend of dressing-down that female-types have displayed in their descriptions of what they plan to wear.

Of course, she should dress up so that I don't feel like an idiot for doing so.

Also, all Buffistas are foamy, as are their prom clothes.

I can't even.

Aww, dude. Did you sleep through that entire BitchBoyCabal:Backchannel conversation about the whole Zoo trip thing with the tuxedos? I'm sure my notes say that you were going to liberate the penguins. Hang on, let me ping ND's sidekick.

Edited for security purposes, pay no heed

Hmm...it's looking like I am going to be completely overdressed for Saturday,

no such animal.

Once again my outfit -- red irridescent corset and black floor length ball skirt.

Ooo Aimee! What an offer!

It really depends on the dress. I'm usually around a 6 depending on the cut. The problem, however, is my height. Most ball gowns need Barbie legs, and I just don't have them. Petite is usually the only way I can avoid tripping over my dress.

Honestly, I want to dress up. I just don't know what I have in my closet that will work, which is why I was reverting to the more basic attire.

Hee. I have just defended the penguins' honour in Minearverse.
