I just booked my trip to Houston to see the LOTR Exhibit. It'll be a whirlwind trip, getting July 30 noonish and leaving the evening of July 31. But I'll see the exhibit! Yay!
Huh, apparently the WB's showing of The Two Towers is alternate programming for the Emmys.
Oh, where's Kristen? I think it was Kristen (unless it was Narrator) who had the funniest riff about WB exec (probably JK) sitting home in a tux, eating ice cream on Emmy night.

We got invited to attend the Lord of the Rings Symphony concert at the Acropolis! They will be performing in the Odeon Herodes (photo I took in Jan), with sets and everything.

I'm really excited. A concert under the stars, with the Parthenon lit up behind us! I hope I can take photos. My DH found an article about it on TORN [link] although it doesn't say much.
Of course, now I'm stressing about what to wear, since it's a bit of a hike up to the theater, and most of my dressy outfits are designed to be worn in air-con.
But still - SQUEEE! I'm betting good money that we'll be the only people in attendance who saw each movie opening night, saw the Trilogy, and own all the soundtracks and EE DVDs.
