It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

It's pissing me and my hubby off that we don't have a big movie to plan to see on Christmas. Jackson owes us a new Christmas tradition.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, you still have the in-home extendathon as an option.

It's not the same, but in competition with the sharp stick and the poking, it's not doing so bad. And it mightn't trigger the hospitalisation geas.

There is that. "So, you think it was a yin/yang sort of thing? We get LOTR movies, but we have to pay for them with you in the hospital?" "Maybe."

I think we'll take the risk and hope he opts for a summer release.

Yes, tomorrow. Why, when do you guys get it?

OK, I just looked, not until Tuesday? How strange.

I hadn't planned to buy it. I'm hoping my parents will lend me theirs again once they've watched it. Or maybe I'll drop hints to get the extended trilogy box set for Christmas.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Fiona is a wrongheaded crackpot because she has the ability to buy tomorrow but is *flaunting* it by not!
