Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"?
Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn.
Aragorn: I like "Strider."
Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.
I thanked the Buffistas in the acknowldgements for my book.
Awww...
Choir members are immersing themselves in Elvish through books and movies, and will put in about 40 hours of Elvish singing practice before the October performance.
Plus, studying the Elvish, while unnecessary, sounds like a heck of a lot of fun! This is basically saying that they get to read the books and watch the movies. And I would imagine that they would put in at least 40 hours of singing practice between now and then, and if it were in Elvish, then there you are. It just goes to show how you can make just about anything sound onerous or fun, depending upon how you put it.
RotK EE Street Date: December 14th!!!
Date to pre-order: September 10th!!!
As I said at WX, woo hoo!!
I was just about to talk to my boss about vacation time in December, and I'm scheduling the 14th off just so I can watch it, since there is no midnight showing that week (waaa!).
I'm so excited!
I've been checking Amazon daily.
Is there any more news--or I'll settle for rumor, really--about an in-theater release of EE RotK?, she said hopefully.
Haven't heard anything recently.
But you know, Frankenbuddha, that the new millenium begins with one!
::snark::
Is the EE the one with the extra gift things (like bookends or whatever), or is that called something else? I seem to remember getting tricked by this before...
