Kaylee: So, uh, how come you don't care where you're going? Book: 'Cause how you get there is the worthier part.

'Serenity'

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hey, today was the 50th anniversary of Allen & Unwin publishing the first edition of the Fellowship of the Ring in Great Britain (3500 copies.)

Heh. The Bubblegum book's first edition was 4,000. And while we did go to a second edition, I doubt it will be in print 50 years from now.

Nylon Magazine has a feature on Dominic Monaghan. It's in the August issue. And Flaunt Magazine has some feature where they had kids taking pictures and Billy Boyd wound up in three of them. I think it's the July issue of Flaunt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Put yourself in a fangirl's shoes: can you imagine going to see Troy and noticing Dom and Viggo in the audience? There must have been major plotzing.
