Well, I watched the DVD of RotK AT HOME!
Yes, darling, I heard you. I was just being polite and not whiiiiining that I don't get to watch AT HOME yet! Hee.
Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

I really need to add "Must make everyone think I am the best at everything" on my things to work on with therapist. It's just, where should it go? before "Must make everyone think I am pretty/smart/funny." or "Must have all attention, all the time."?
Aimee, the theatrical DVD usually doesn't have Easter Eggs. As for the extended, one egg that Jackson has already said is going to be included is some footage from a press interview at the European premiere in Berlin. Dom was there (he grew up in Germany), and Elijah was being interviewed via satellite, so that the reporters in Berlin could see and hear him, but he could only hear them in LA. Knowing this, Dom pretended to be a German reporter and started asking him the most obnoxious questions possible, which Elijah tried very politely to answer without losing his cool.
eeeee!
t falls over laughing
Stop that, Empress dear. We all have that impulse. And you are remarkably generous, as well, with your time and your concern and your love, so you canNOT be a true attention whore. I know several of those, and you ain't one.

She does a mean impression of one, though.
(i'm so gonna get it when i get home)
I don't know if anyone's planning to buy the DVD tomorrow (yeah, right), but if you buy it at Borders, you get a set of 4 posters with it (while supplies last *g*). As if we needed that extra incentive.
That's cool.
Best Buy was giving away to the first 150 RotK customers at each store a copy of the all-LotR Entertainment Weekly special issue and some microwave popcorn and candy. The magazine is pretty cool, but doesn't have too much that looks to be new to anyone who's watched all the documentaries and listened to the commentaries on the extended dvds. Apparently, Toys R Us is handing out a $10 Frodo figure, and they're also price-matching the other stores.
