I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

Mal ,'Heart Of Gold'

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Shooting in a foreign language -- had a moment of hysterical laughter, before I remembered that Viggo actually does speak Spanish. Then I had a moment of bash-head-on-keyboard when I remembered his Spanish isn't that good.

Then I remembered this is Viggo. Surely he'll have memorized the Collegiate Spanish-English dictionary by the time shooting starts.

I believe vampires are the world's greatest golfers

He's probably already enrolled in Spanish-immersion classes. Next stop will be writing poetry in the language.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

No doubt he'll be bringing home a spanish-speaking horse.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, I saw an ad for a new movie theatre in Elgin -- it's supposed to have the biggest screen in the midwest.

RotK is playing there. . . at least this week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I remembered his Spanish isn't that good.

Really? The Spanish language interview I read with him had a very impressed interviewer.

However, it looks like they're assembling a mismash of accents.

edit:

Next stop will be writing poetry in the language.

He already does.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Isn't Viggo's Spanish supposed to be good, just very Argentinian, to the point where some Argentines can pinpoint what street he lived on?

No doubt he'll be bringing home a spanish-speaking horse.

BWAH!!

BTW, I saw an ad for a new movie theatre in Elgin -- it's supposed to have the biggest screen in the midwest.

Oooh. I have Friday off of work--I might go check this theater out.

I can't even.

Next stop will be writing poetry in the language.

He already does.

Wow, he really is ViggoSue. Pretty impressive for a non-fictional character.

brillig

ViggoSue

Yeah, but, really, whoever wrote him up needs to have a better grasp of character development ;) Darn these real people who can do things.

Art Crawl!!!

So, Dominic Monaghan is going to be in a parade tonight?

(Oh, and Viggo was apparently in Chicago yesterday doing publicity for Hidalgo.)
