We can hold off on the thing until you have ready cash -- it'll be there. I've seen it there for 6 months, at least. There's more than one.
LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".
Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".
A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.
This amusing sketch was mailed to me by DH's aunt, who is phenomenally cool. She didn't leave me a note as to where she got it from, though, so I have no idea who this "Gregory" is.

Bravo is running a "Making of LotR: RotK" this weekend -- Saturday and Sunday at 10/11.
FYI - these are on in the AM. It's an Oscar-riffic weekend on Bravo - lots of specials about all the nominated movies and actors. Including Johnny Depp's Inside the Actors Studio. Yay. (Even though I have to mute it AND look away when Jampes Lipton is on the screen then keep checking back to see when the actor starts talking again - but for Depp, it is worth it.)
Also, Peter Jackson is on Charlie Rose tonight, and Annie Lennox is on the Tonight Show (schedule conflict between the two for me, so I'm sticking with PJ).
