Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

LotR - The Return of the King: "We named the *dog* 'Strider'".

Frodo: Please, what does it always mean, this... this "Aragorn"? Elrond: That's his name. Aragorn, son of Arathorn. Aragorn: I like "Strider." Elrond: We named the *dog* "Strider".

A discussion of Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King. If you're a pervy hobbit fancier, this is the place for you.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Btw, did everybody see Rob in the Get Fuzzy comic strip wearing a WETA t-shirt in the last week?

Not for the first time either. He wears a lot of Soccer and Rugby team shirts too.

eta Hey! That's what PJ should do - a Get Fuzzy movie. WETA can do the animals and Andy Sirkis can do Bucky!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Cool tidbit from RotK: Craig Parker, who played Haldir in both FotR and TTT, does the voices of both the Orc who berates the "pirate scum" (actually, Aragorn et al) for being late to the battle, "as usual," as well as the voice of Gothmog, the pig-faced Orc commander!

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I did see his name in the credits, but didn't see what voices he did. I also didn't see the "cute ____ [Gondorian?] children" credit or any of the other cameos. I don't read as quickly as I used to.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I didn't see a Cute Gondorian Children credit either, and I was looking for it all three times.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

That's cool. I'm going to have to pay attention the next time I see the movie. (re. Craig Parker)

Art Crawl!!!

I just recognized the Jackson kids.

That's sad. . . isn't it?

Do they get credits? They don't have any lines!

I'm pretty sure I saw the credit for the cute gondorian children when I saw it last.

They were credited as "Cute [Hobbit/Rohan] Children" in FotR and TTT, but I didn't see them in the RotK credits at all. But maybe I just missed it.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

They get credits in all the other movies, so I don't know why not this one. I didn't see any of the other cameo-people in credits, though.
