We're Literary 2: To Read Makes Our Speaking English Good

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I knew you didn't love me.

I knew it.

Robin and I are one. Or at the very least, we are two tired, squinty-eyed people who might just have impulse control issues.

Her whitefont is my whitefont. I'm still a little drained...maybe even overwhelmed.

As Hagrid would say "Won't say no more."

Can't wait for the discussion.

You're saying you don't love me either?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I love you, ita. Just ...not enough.

Story of my life.

Oh, I love you too...jut not that way.

Noble woman. Fierce woman. Stylish woman.

What's not to love?

Wow. I really must be tired. I had trouble finding the question mark key there.

I should be in bed, getting the sleep I did not get last night but the story is swirling around in my head. I'm tempted to replace it by watching something, or reading something else but I just can't.

I'd go for a walk but, ya know...middle o the night.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

I just finished it. Wow. I'm glad I was spoiled for that ending. I was able to comfort myself with theories. The last few chapters were intense but I did get one unexpected laugh. "Snape!" ejaculated Slughorn, who looked the most shaken, pale and sweating. More careful wording there, JKR.

Ron "ejaculated" in book 5 as well.

While I did not spoil myself immediately as I was walking out of B&N yesterday, I couldn't help but rush to the end while in the middle of chapter 2. I'm glad I did. That way, I could slow down and 'get there' with more focus.

As I was plowing through, I kept startling myself by laughing outloud, or shouting "NO!", or offering a big "HUH!"

I was worried after Pheonix. I didn't love it so much. Prince has completely won me back to the fold.

For such a serious book, it did have a lot of laugh out loud moments.

I didn't want to be spoiled, and couldn't wait to get to the end, so I had it finished by yesterday afternoon. I'll go back to it in a few weeks, I think.

Overall I had the same feeling I got from book 5 - that nothing had really been achieved by the end of it. It's all foreplay. I'm assuming it'll all come together in the last book, but I don't want to wait that long.

My favourite unintentionally funny line - "I need to know what Malfoy is doing inside you".
