Did we decide how long to whitefont discussion of the new Harry Potter?

We're Literary 2: To Read Makes Our Speaking English Good
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I feel like we're still whitefonting for OotP, so...forever? More or less?
I say a month.
I say at least until after the paperback comes out. Not all of us can afford hardback prices.
What's the guideline for movies?
Movies guideline is: "Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release."
So, maybe, since it takes longer to read a book than to watch a movie, maybe whitefont all plot-related discussion for 1 month, and whitefont major HSQ (Harry & Draco 4Evah!!) until 1 month after the paperback release?
Sounds good to me.
Other readers' thoughts on that spoiler policy?

I don't like paying hardback prices, so I'm on the wait list at the library. I should probably have the book and have read it within eight weeks at the latest. (It's a long wait list, but it's a big library.)
That said, I'd be willing to avoid the thread or skim until I had the book, rather than force whitefont forever.
Edit: The modified movies policy would work for me.
And Steph is wrong. I think the HSQ in this one is going to be Ron shagging the hell out of Hermione, I do, I do.
