I tried to read the first Anita Blake book, got to the rats, got freaked out, and stopped cold. Sounds like I'm better off.

I think she thinks women in general are kind of of the ick...Or is it that LKH doesn't know what to do with a character if she doesn't want Anita to fuck them, pardon my French? I've not read many, but they seem kind of short of women, don't you think?

So, I just finished what I think is my first Ngaio Marsh, Enter a Murderer. I wasn't wild about it. Is that a good one, or should I try more?
It's not one I've read. I enjoy the ones that deal with Roderick and Agatha Troy, like Artists in Crime.
OK, this one had no Agatha. It was one of the first ones, I guess (1935), so I'll see what else is at the library.
I'm not sure how many she plays a prominent role in. I've only read a few, but I'm getting attached to Rory and Fox.
