You two carried me through that war. Now I need you to carry me just a little bit further. If you can.

We're Literary 2: To Read Makes Our Speaking English Good

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Oh, I did read that. But it wasn't tear-inducing.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

I totally loved the Onion's thing. It definitely reads as well now.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So I am reading Sugar Blues for this nutrition class thing. It was big book in the 70s, right?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That Onion article is a classic. Oddly enough, their bit on explaining September 11 to kids is one of the best things of its kind I've seen.

Chocolate, the story of the Buddha, and a man called Nic?

Works for me.

Not so much the story of the Buddha (though that's fine by me) -- just the idea of reading in general, combined with Nic Cage and chocolate. Yum.

Oooh! Sandman!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I know. I haven't ordered the Sandman poster because I already have oodles of nifty posters and prints that I haven't gotten around to framing. In a few months, there's going to be one of those posters with Neil Gaiman on it.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I need this.

Not to mention this.
