I read Bet Me, by Jennifer Crusie, on Saturday, and it's wonderful. It reads like a smart screwball comedy. Also, I was tickled that at the very, very end, a black lab-mix dog nicknamed The Beast makes a very brief appearance.

But I find her sex scenes just hot in general. In most romance novels, I skip over the sex scenes. They're so blah. JC's I read, and reread and reread and jump my hubby and then read again.
I think it's cool she took the chance, though. And yeah, I liked that part.
