Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

they *cut* the glowy-spine Cyclon!Boomer orgasm moment!

Oh, OK, that's why I didn't see it.

That it's just a silly, silly element. Or, or... OK, maybe it's a glow that can't be seen by human eyes, only we, the viewing audience, get a special pass. Oh, whatever. I've got nothing.

Just watched Moebius Part Two. Okay, they really pulled off the whole time travel thing, I'm ashamed I ever doubted them. Plus, McKay and the GateShip thing. I love my crossover humour. And dear sweet hippie Jesus, but the OT3. They were really pushing the Sam/Jack, but at heart, it was OT3 all the way baby. As a point of interest, has anyone ever counted up all the times that Daniel has died? Does anyone have that much free time on their hands?

Also saw The Siege Part One, which I quite enjoyed. Teyla is a hell of a lot more interesting than she's been before, and I even had a moment of affection for Ford. Though that might have been gas. Weir actually doing something useful for a change was nice too.

Jars, I don't want to read the white font, but... thumbs up or thumbs down on Moebius 2?

Jars - Feb 22, 2005 1:24:51 pm PST #9844 of 10000

Definite thumbs up, with some reservations that I can happily handwave.

Excellent. And it'll be up soon, yay!

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Jars: Oh my God the OT3. Bwahahaha! I adored it to little bitty pieces. Even the smooching I adored.

There MUST BE FIC.

And according to Arduinna's Stargate Handbook, "our" Daniel has died four times: the staff blast in the movie, the staff blast in The Nox, his heart stopping in The Light, and the radiation poisoning in Meridian. Robot!Daniel died in Double Jeopardy, and Dork!Daniel died in Moebius 2.

Also aww, crap, I hadn't heard the "I lied" bit. I wanted AU!Sam to want both of them! Oh well. I cheerfully ignore canon. *handwave*

All is well that ends in pizza.

Heh. Me, too, Daniel. After checking for availability obsessively (while rolling my eyes at myself) for the last several hours.
