Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Huh. Weird. BT had both Siege part 1 and 2 up already, and according to TV Tome, Siege part 2 *is* the season finale. But Moebius 2 is not up on BT yet (last I checked.)

Yeah, I don't know from what country the Atlantis eps came, but the finale has been out for a couple of weeks at least. And I've been seeing the SG-1s on Tuesdays, so Moebius 2 in a couple of days (yay).

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Well, Siege 2 has already aired in Canada. Siege 2 and Moebius 2 are airing in the UK on Tuesday.

Atlantis has really come into its own. The first half was sketchy, but I loved the second half of the season--well, with the exception of "Sanctuary". It had some good character developments, HSQ moments, and even an arc. I think it'll do well, even after SG-1 bows out. Assuming SG-1 *ever* bows out.

At this rate, SG-1 will never die.

I dunno; I'm still not feeling any real fannish glee with Atlantis. I have the feeling it's going to be one of those "what does everyone see in him?" fandoms for me; I like it fine, but I'm not being blown away like so many people obviously were by the second half.

Our wings are not tired

SG-1 must run forever. It's my pretty. I demand it.

Well, like you said in your primer, they'll still be making the show when each team member is in a wheelchair in a nursing home.

I like SGA a lot, although I'm not as squee-tastic about it as some other people on LJ. I find the characters solid and engaging, and I like that they're willing to go a bit darker than the SG-1 counterpart did back in its infancy. They killed off a lot of people (I'm thinking of Hot Zone in particular), and because Atlantis has a finite number of crew, each death feels more grievous to me--they're whittling down their numbers. It's sort of Angel equivalent to SG-1's Buffy in my mind.

My Friday night squee-show is BSG right now. I just watched the latest on TiVo, which was funny, weird and creepy. But mostly funny! Baltar in panic is very ferrety. I want to kick him and squeeze him affectionately at the same time.

And I'm surprising myself for having the mad-on for portly cantankerous old men, because I'm loving Adama, Tigh and Dr. No-Tact.

Edited because my browser ate the whole post! That was bizarre.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Whoot!

All is well that ends in pizza.

I think Atlantis would benefit from losing the "We're cut off from home" aspect in it's storyline. Limited, yes, but completely cut off, it could become a crutch. The gateverse writers would benefit from having it yanked out. Plus? The threat of the Wraith would be even more acute.

Note to those who have seen the unaired eps: I had this opinion before the events of the season finale, so there!

Having only seen what has been aired, I'm assuming that that's where they're going with the piece of paper from the past.

And I agree that that would be a good thing. It would make me worry about over-cross-polination between the shows, though.
