I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Siege 2: What the HELL do you mean, "to be continued"?! Please don't tell me it's the season-ender. It is, isn't it? Bastards!

Wow, they killed a lot of people--OK, extras, (and Grodin! *sob*) but still. And it's ugly and bloody and they're friggin' losing; it's only S1, but the show's getting hella dark and... I think I like it.

Btw, did Moebius 1 air at the same time as The Siege 2? 'Cause... it's obviously supposed to be a stealth crossover but they haven't gotten their "world" strengthed out in the SG-1 side yet, not enough spare Atlantis a ZPM anyway. It looks like Siege 2 was meant to follow Moebius 2, but BitTorrent doesn't have Moebius 2 yet so I don't know what the hell is going on in British side re. airing date.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Moebius: See, for that kind of fun I'm happy to turn off my brain. Wheeeeee! Okay, they won't admit to the OT3, but we'll all know it's going on every time the camera pans away. I mean, come on. And the Dorktastic Twins, and oh God Jack and Daniel scampering out of the briefing room in the beginning, I think I've watched that scene about twenty times already. Scampering!

All is well that ends in pizza.

No, but it should have. SG-1 is still showing news eps in Canada, but Aquarium has finished. It will sync for the Sci-Fi channel, I bet.

I have a plan.

Was BSG on Friday night? I didn't record and wasn't listed here in the Old Pueblo.

Yeah, I know there was a new episode, though I haven't seen it yet. (I only just finally watched last week's Atlantis. Oh, John. Keep it in your pants, dude. Alien mind-melds never end well; just ask Sam.)

Rodney was right on with referencing Star Trek

In fact, a lot of the score for that ep sounded reminiscent of ST:TOS...

Ugh, yeah, that was my least favorite Atlantis of the end run. Silly.

Moebius was so much fun. And there was even some good pretty, what with Daniel at the funeral .

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Which one? The Kirkish one?

It made me laugh quite a bit. I got bored with much of the time travel one, especially the scenes with the Ancients. But the Shepard/whoever interactions were all golden, especially McKay.

The Kirkish one?

Yeah, that's the one. The Kirk line was funny, and I'm sure there was other stuff I appreciated. But I just... meh. I was pretty bored.

I actually enjoyed the time travel one. I liked her Ancient co-conspirator. Wouldn't mind seeing him again. He looked familiar, but I couldn't place him.
