I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I have an odd bad=funny tolerance. It has to be bad in just the right way (and I can't even explain what way that is) for me to find it funny rather than annoying. That said, even bad bad can be funny when I have witty people present to help me mock. (See Van Helsing)

All is well that ends in pizza.

Watching Moebius, Pt 1.

Cracking up.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Heh. If I was writing SG-1....

Strange gunman: You've ruined my life!

Jack: D'oh!

Probably best I'm not.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Okay, that was... dumb. Cute! I laughed a lot! But dumb. Even dumber than the last time I said that about an episode.

Yeah. The whole thing where Jack has had relaxing visions of being a barber for the last seven years? Ummm, sure. If you say so...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Only when he was doing after-mission reports or in his office, or closer to the thingamabob.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

SG-1: This show really is the most meta thing, ever, isn't it?

Also, I know of no Piggly-Wigggly's in Indiana.

Maybe he shops over the border in Kentucky.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ha! This one I found funny. Well, the bulk of it was neither here nor there -- I was charmed by the flashbacks, and by the end feeling pretty sorry for Joe.

But the wrapup scenes had me cackling.

Also good to know some shows that need to be cancelled got cancelled.

Why this absurdity worked and not the Prometheus one? Possibly the in characterness, possibly Shanks's awful wig.

Hard to tell.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

DCJ, I actually once tried to find a Piggly Wiggly (for a bag for a prop). I went past maybe a half dozen other grocery stores (and many places for cashier-level work) to get there. And, with that much IU stuff, they're probably significantly north of me. However, I'm probably the only pedant in the area who watches the show, so I'm not particularly upset.

ita, me, too. Except for the Prometheus thing. Haven't seen it yet.
