Okay, how exactly is CSI science fiction? Or Nip/Tuck, for that matter?
Nip/Tuck had plastic surgeons as point men when a conjoined twin separation surgery went awry, a woman being reported to the police for flushing a pet gerbil, and Famke Janssen playing a post-operative transsexual. I can buy it as Sci-fi.
how exactly is CSI science fiction?
I think if you ask actual CSIs, they might categorise it as such.
I mean -- Abbott and Costello? Veronica Mars? The Aviator?
I don't get it.
Ummm, did
Lois
actually go out drinking
in her pjs
?
And
Luke
makes a kind of wimpy
football guy,
doesn't he?
Hmm, so
Luke is
evil. Also,
Chloe
sooo wants to
tell Clark
that
she knows
.
Ah, Threads is finally mine. After Alias. Yay.
Well, a friend of mine's girlfriend used to go out to movies and such
in her PJs
if it was a really late showing. I guess Lois was thinking ahead to the inevitable
uncontrolled collapse into bed
after
drinking that much.
Though her appearance the
next morning
was one of the least convincing
"I collapsed drunkenly into bed and now have a hang-over"
looks I've ever seen. I guess the WB has eye-candy quotas they need to maintain.
Does anyone else feel like lately it's been the Clark, Chloe and Lois show which happens to share a time slot with the Lex, Lana and Jason show?
Also, from previews from next week, I realize it's hard to tell from just one shot, but
Krypto
isn't a very cute
dog.
Also, would like to reiterate how much that episode fills me with dread.
SG-1/Threads:
Totally not what I was expecting,
but unlike Katie,
I like the pairing, so I'm good. Not to argue the point that it was all a bit... much, because it totally was. But I am a sap at heart... for fictional characters, anyway, and that ending was just about what I'd hoped for series-wise .
Oh, and the
Jaffa stuff looks like it could be very interesting for Teal'c. Yay
!
And,
I'm sorry, but Daniel's big return cracked me up
.
The rest of the season is
just gravy
.
[Edited to vague it up just a bit, sort of. For any accidental uncovering.]
So I'd asked a couple friends from work who have a one-year old for crucial things to get for the newborn. They said: "Stargate SG-1 DVDs. Firefly DVDs. Oh, and Baby Einstein's good too."
Thing is, I've pretty much watched all the Stargate DVDs...guess I'll just have to watch them again.
