Time for some thrilling heroics.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The Illya Kuryakin line cracked me up, especially as his predicament at the end was somewhat reminiscent of the kind of stuff that happened on Man from U.N.C.L.E.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Threads: Yeah, that was too much yentaing and dying in the service of a pairing I don't enjoy for me to really love it, and I didn't even get the payback of having them look, you know, pleased that Daniel wasn't dead. (Though Jack's rant at the beginning was funny.)

Fascinating Teal'c stuff, though. "Teal'c of the Tau'ri"?

Okay, Sean will laugh.

I laughed my ass off, even though I think the only Man from U.N.C.L.E. I've seen is in vids.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shrift! You need to watch it! It's great TV.

I would like to eventually. It's not going anywhere. My free time, on the other hand, is pretty much booked solid for the next while.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Okay, Tom Welling rates a Best Actor in a Television Series nom and DB doesn't? WTF?!?

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, some of those noms are...interesting. Or possibly crack-headed.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Okay, how exactly is CSI science fiction? Or Nip/Tuck, for that matter?

They also seem to be real flexible on categories. Spider-Man 2 is fantasy? Okay, the science was laughable, but no more so than in Sky Captain
