Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Finally saw this week's Smallville.

I adore Alicia. Is that alright? I could have liked this episode a lot, but there was no Clex, Chloe had nothing to do, Lana had something to do, and that speech from Ma Kent at the end made me want to smack her real hard.

I know it's a roofie analogy, but I still wanted those two crazy kids to work it out and get it on.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ma Kent is way out of line.

Her son was fed the super equivelent of a date rape drug and she and pa Kent are dissapointed in his behavior after being drugged.

Not to mention that I thought her "marriage is sacred" speech was full of shit. What then is marriage to someone with no religion? I think marriage can be a beautiful thing, but her speech made it sound like "till death do us part" should be enforced at gunpoint.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I'm with Vonnie -- I liked this ep of BSG a lot, although more for the structure than the story. I did think that scene was very powerful, though. Still, the flashbacks and intercutting of the past and present were what did it for me. Poor foolish Starbuck. And ouch, the way he said he loved her like a daughter and then turned on her when she admitted the truth.

I really really like that they cast someone with an actual body for Kara. I have no idea what size she really is, but she looks like she could really be a soldier. I love that.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I really really like that they cast someone with an actual body for Kara.

Oh dear God yes. She's gorgeous and tough and solid--feminine without being girly. I think I have a little crush. Actually, I have a little crush on Roslin, Apollo, Starbuck and the Chief. It's a big crush-orgy in my head!

I am a weak, weak woman because I caved and watched ep. 5 last night and... can I just say once more how much I adore Roslin ? I understand her character is a new creation for this version of BSG. Whoever it was that first thought of the character *and* decided to cast Mary McDonnell is a frakking genius.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

"Walk out of this cabin while you still can."

That whole scene just killed me.

Yes! This.

The one thing that does bug me about the cast is that there's a huge gap between the old and the young, at least in the military. Did all the soldiers in their 40's die in the Cylon attacks?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, you could wank that the ship was about to be decommisioned, so they'd have better places to put the in-between people than on an outdated Battlestar.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I really enjoyed the last Battlestar GaLostica, flashbacks and all. And yeah, that scene with Starbuck and Adama was intense. I thought they did a very nice job with the attitude change after that conversation as well, because it could easily have come off as really forced, and it didn't strike me that way.

Art Crawl!!!

I liked the way Clark was with Alicia. I think, that if she had been a little more patient -- there would have been no need for the red kryptonite of roofieness.

I don't get the idea of them getting married -- that's just weird, and yeah, Ma Kent's reaction was stupid. Why wasn't she more angry with Alicia?

MI-5 - BTW, interesting how they cast someone who resembles Zoe so much to play Danny's love interest (Harry's daughter).
