Okay, thanks. I've been prepping myself for it being a Let's Make Fun Of The Fans Fest, so I'm glad to hear not so much.

Brain-checking is noted. Man, I'm glad the one-offs are over and stuff is going to start happening again. I suspect brain-checking will still be required, but at least they'll be blowing stuff up!

Hmm, yeah, see that's the thing. There's definitely moments where they poke fun at the fans a little. But they poke more fun at themselves, I think, so it all balances out.

Well, I guess I'll see how I feel about it, then. There's a way to do that good-naturedly, but the SG-1 PTB haven't been very good at it in the past, and frankly I'm not impressed by showrunners who feel the need to smack the hand that feeds them.

Mind you, there are some real whackaloons in SG-1 fandom. But still. it's rude.

FYI: I just got a letter from Adelphia, with a forward from MGM about torrenting Stargate Atlantis. It got my cable internet shut off temporarily, and they say the next time I get caught it's for good.

MGM said "[Adelphia] may have legal and/or equitable liability if it does not expeditiously remove or disable access to the (property)(s) listed below, or if it fails to implement a policy that provides for termination of subscribers who are repeat infringers."

The tech support guy at Adelphia didn't seem to care if I kept downloading, but said that it was the sharing the upload that was the problem.
