Strawberry disappointment.

I'm enjoying BSG, however the idea of the sexy blond Cyclon in not Dr Bashir's head is so much like Harvey in Farscape that I'm finding it distracting.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I watched those 2 Battlestar episodes and you know what? 5 days without sleep before you break out the amphetamines? I am thinking no. There is a radical cliff off which critical thinking and hand-eye skills drop, and I don't want people already off the cliff flying my space planes. (Much less with their fingers on my nuclear weapons triggers.)

I find many of the characters clunkily written and not especially strongly acted; and then there are about 3 who are both well-written and -acted. Like, they were working on a talent budget, and could only afford placeholders for most of the cast.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

but you'll abet my SG/FS thing, won't you? Won't you?

Hey, so long as you're doing the writing I'm up for abetting.

And yes, Jack could take Adama; but I think Adama might crack first. I'm really not sure that he'd think Jack was entertaining.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm really not sure that he'd think Jack was entertaining.

I don't think he would, not in the least.

Annnd now I'm stuck with the mental image of Scorpius in a slinky red dress trying to seduce John Crichton. Oh joy.

Well come on, it's bound to be in a DVD extra.

Art Crawl!!!

I am enjoying the BG series.

I have a friend who got sucked into the last hour of the mini when she was forced to switch away from csi NY due to their LAUGHABLE depiction of Westminster and watched the new eps and loved them.

(Seriously, seeing dog shows depicted the way that csi NY did, makes me question the verisimilitude of all csi depictions of subcultures EVER.)

Eeep! Need! I was just at Barnes & Noble last night, looking at the DVDs, and I specifically looked for the PK Wars DVD. I must have been just a few days too early.

Art Crawl!!!

Mine shipped on the 16th. Does this mean it's coming out tomorrow?

(How cool.)

I was at Walmart and looked for the Season 1 Sunburst (?) edition -- of course, they did not have it.
