Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have no idea what a warrant officer is or does.

Something that doesn't involve genitalia.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Something that doesn't involve genitalia.

Unless there's a warrant out on your goolies.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I have no idea what a warrant officer is or does.

Warrant officers are commissioned officers, but do not command troops. Sort of an officer version of the enlisted men's specialist ranks. A lot of Army helicopter pilots are warrant officers.

Cool, thanks DX. So it's like a specialist track.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Hee. SG-1 is like the JAG of sci-fi tv.

Ha! Now, now, that's not entirely fair. I'm pretty sure SG's dialogue is more fun than JAG's.

Does JAG have such slashy subtext?

I have no clue, really. What vague impressions I have of JAG fanfic is that it's mostly het.

Then ... I've seen SG1, Ma'am, and JAG is no SG1.

Or something like that. I don't even know what quotation I'm trying to butcher.

Heh. I was so yanking your chain on that one. (Pssst, check your flist.)

I don't even know what quotation I'm trying to butcher.

"I knew John Kennedy. And you, sir, are no John Kennedy." Wassname, to Dan Quayle, in one of the VP debates.

Really? I had no idea it was that recent.
