Boxed Set, Vol. 1: Smallville, Due South, Farscape
A topic for the discussion of Farscape, Smallville, and Due South. Beware possible invasions of Stargate, Highlander, or pretty much anything else that captures our fancy. Expect Adult Content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Nah, I just had to watch so many of them I couldn't help noticing that good = white and suburban in that 'verse, and bad = exotic, alien, other.
But somebody should drop a line to Bust or Bitch. 'Cuz PPG has been getting a free ride on their girls-with-powers plus cuteness.
I'd never thought PPG was particularly subversive, just from the little I'd seen. Funny, sure. Subversive? NSM. t shrugs

So, was I the only one singing the Cal Worthington song upon hearing Clark's alias? Go see Cal, go see Cal, go see Cal!You aren't now . Hurrumphh!
Us Superman historians knew Kal was short for Kal-El, Clark's birth name.
Daniel, I'm hardly a Superman historian unless having had a childhood fascination with the Christopher Reeve movies counts, and *I* knew that.
Plus, they've said a bunch during Smallville.
(Okay, so I still didn't quite pick up on it until the scene with Papa Kent and Jor-El, but that is because I am slow, and was distracted by the blinding whiteness fo Tom Welling's teeth.)
So I downloaded Smallville and I've got to ask, do they always have trailers at the start of the programme for the programme you're actually watching?
I couldn't believe it, the guy's like "Tonight on Smallville Clark blah, blah blahs" at the start of the programme. I mean, I'm watching it, why do I need it advertised to me? And I want to find out what happens by watching the show. Sheesh.
Umm, yes. And they did that for Angel too.
Am I alone in thinking this is weird?
