"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I've never read the original. It wasn't any better.

So it fills even people who never read the series with an urge to avenge its desecration with violence against the screenwriter and director? Cool!

I do think that Glover actually read the novels, as he seemed to be playing his character as originally written rather than "re-imagined" to suit all the surrounding characters and plots. It's as if Ogion took a wrong turn somewhere and wandered into The Gnomish Bookends of Shannara by mistake.

What was the last episode of SG-1 you guys got? I think that we may have just moved ahead of you, but it wouldn't make a lot of sense, as I'm pretty sure we're still behind on Atlantis. I don't want to accidentaly spoil anyone. It could just be Sky One fucking stuff up, as is their wont.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We've seen through 8x10 for both series. Where are you?

The ep was called Gemini , I think. But I have no idea how far into the run it is. Sky One said that it was 'a world exclusive', but they could be talking out their proverbials. They didn't say it about Atlantis, which I think started a week before SG-1. I'll try and find the ep title for Atlantis.

Hm.

ETA - A ha! The Atlantis ep was called The Storm.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The last SG-1 episode we got was called Endgame, and began with someone stealing the Gate out of the Gateroom.

I thought the next one up was the one with the special guest star. Am I wrong?

Gemini is ahead. Episode 11.

Aha.

I'm so confused by the running order. Stargate should not perplex me so.

Okay, first Gemini, then Prometheus Unbound. Coolness.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

It's so odd to have a three-month break in the middle of a season. And by odd I mean sadistic and wrong.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Hey, General Hammond is on NCIS.
