Lorne: My little prince. Oh…what did they do to you? Angel: Nina…tried to…eat me. Lorne: Oh, you're--medic! You're gonna make it Angel. Just don't stop fighting. Doctor! Is there a Gepetto in the house?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just turned the channel to see Kirk and McCoy tryiing to have a quiet drink and keep getting interrupted, including Yeoman Rand coming in to insist on the captain eating something.

I sometimes forget about those little moments of "life on the ship" business.

I don't do single malt. Maybe tequila.

I'm out of scotch and may not have time to get any tomorrow, since I'll probably be in the office. Tequila may have to do it for me, too.

Argh. This is so horrifying. And I'm told by Laura Shapiro that ... they call Ged "Jed" throughout the movie. Not Sparrowhawk. Jed. Because of course no one could have a name that starts with a hard G. Like Gary. Or Gil.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I now know what to get Ursula K. Leguin for Christmas: the head of whoever was behind this "adaptation."

Advance notice from London on Spooks 310 (no spoilers):

The Holy Shit Quotient was 11 -- one louder -- even though I kinda sorta knew it was coming.

Those utter, utter bastards -- and I mean that as a compliment.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've been looking and I haven't seen it either, Suela.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, they said his name, but they pronounced it correctly.

Also, what they're showing on tv resembles NOTHING I remember from the books.

So am I, god help my soul.

Approaching it as something with the same name, but really just another story.

Art Crawl!!!

It seems strangely like Arthurian legend to me. I think it's the prophecy and the curse and the king. Why don't I remember a king ?
